Brandun Lee Wins War With Pedro Campa

The Samurai warriors of Japan lived a life of fearlessness and loyalty, bound by the mantra ‘Death Before Dishonor’. 

Brandun Lee, one of boxing’s most exciting prospects, once again exemplified that same warrior code from his limited-edition collection with another electrifying performance to move to 28-0 with a unanimous decision victory over Pedro Campa.

Speaking after a recent career win, Lee declared, “I’ll never quit. I’m a fighter, and I’ll fight to the death.”

That fearless attitude was on show again in California, as Lee dug deep within himself to earn his latest success in an epic Fight of the Year contender.

At a venue aptly known as the War Grounds, the undefeated light-welterweight contender was spurred on by rapturous chants of "Brandun Lee" across 10 furiously fought rounds.

While the fight served as Showtime’s co-main event, with Brian Mendoza stunning Sebastian Fundora in the headliner, it was Lee’s warrior-like performance and explosive clash that stole the show.

Reminding The World

A non-stop first round set the tone for what would be a relentless battle between two fighters throwing every shot with bad intentions. 

With the partisan crowd continuously roaring his name, Lee had to settle the pace down to withstand the constant Campa pressure and notch up the rounds with more effective shots.

Ringside judges Jerry Cantu, Tiffany Clinton and Fernando Villarreal ultimately scored the fast-paced meeting 99-91, 97-93 and 98-92 in favour of Lee. 

With his hand raised again, the popular La Quinta-native moves to 28-0 with 23 knockouts and edges closer towards sealing a title shot early in his promising career.

"This is boxing, it’s all about who has more effective punches," stated Lee after the fight.

"Look at his face, look at mine. I felt I was more accurate and landed harder shots. Pedro Campa is a true Mexican veteran and he came to fight. 

"I would love another opponent like Pedro Campa, someone who’s strong and I’d love to continue developing how I am now."

Now on the verge of contesting for silverware, Lee has continued to prove he’s much more than just a puncher, as he reminded the world of the limits he’s willing and able to go to before ever surrendering what holds value to him. Death Before Dishonor.
